UExcel® for Advisors and Faculty
UExcel® offers you another way to help your most motivated students receive credit for knowledge they have already attained.
The UExcel program:
- provides students with an official transcript from Excelsior College, a regionally accredited institution, once they pass a UExcel exam
- offers test center locations around the world, allowing students to take a UExcel exam at a time and location that is convenient for them
The American Council on Education’s College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT) has evaluated and made college credit recommendations for UExcel examinations. If your institution does not presently accept UExcel, you may contact the Assessment Unit at Excelsior College at 888-647-2388 (ext. 166) for additional information regarding the UExcel examination series.
