UExcel™ Credit and Transcripts
Score Reports
During the beta-testing phase, no grades will be reported while we gather data sufficient to do statistical analysis and provide grade information. Upon completion, your examination will appear as “Taken” on the UExcel Web site. You will receive further information on how to access your grade when official grades are available (end of March 2009).
Who accepts UExcel credit?
Over 3,300 colleges and universities accept credit earned through credit-by-examination tests. The process varies from institution to institution, but exam-based credit is usually processed like any other form of transfer credit. UExcel will send a transcript to the schools you designate. Sometimes a registrar may require additional information about the program—like a course description—which can be found on the UExcel Web site. If your institution requires additional information regarding the UExcel examination series, your advisor may contact the Assessment Unit at Excelsior College at 888-647-2388 (ext. 166).
How do I order a transcript?
The transcript will be available once the beta has ended and the score reports have been mailed. Once you have received your score report, you can order transcripts.
