You can study and then take your exam at your on-base National Test Center or one of the thousands of other Pearson VUE test centers worldwide. You’ll earn credit now by testing out of introductory classes, allowing you to move more quickly into more challenging and advanced classes. The UExcel exams are a great way to save on tuition and stretch GI Bill dollars!
Here’s How it Works
The UExcel credit-by-examination program is simple:
1) Start by choosing the UExcel exams that meet your educational goals. Each exam costs only $95, with no hidden fees, and earns you 3-6 credits. (The specific number of transfer credits may vary depending on the institution you choose).
2) Study and prepare for the exam. We offer you preparation materials, suggested textbooks and even web-based practice tests that you can take while you are deployed.
3) When you are ready, take the exam at one of the many convenient Pearson VUE testing centers on military installations worldwide. With a passing letter grade, the credits you earn go on an official Excelsior College transcript and can be used towards an Excelsior College degree or transferred to thousands of colleges and universities.
